We are an entite,manoeuvring in storms and white-light.We trans/be-thunder the world´s

din into transcendence´s Silence.We operate with intensivity,we being Robert Hnát-noises,

electronics & programming and Martin Jarolím-effected vocal outbursts & noise-manipulations.

 

COULD YOU SOMEHOW DEFINE THE MUSIC OF VO.I.D ?

 

A magnanimous uproar with a spiral conception of time.

 

THE MUSIC OF VO.I.D IS VERY INTENSE,PULVERISING BLOCKS OF THE SUPERFICIAL,TIRED 

AND SLUMBERING CONSCIOUSNESS.HOW DO YOU DO YOURSELVES EXPERIENCE IT?

 

A fulminating prayer, joyous gushing forth of expression.

 

ANOTHER TYPICAL ASPECT OF VO.I.D IS THE LANGUAGE YOU USE.HOW IS CONSTRUED?

 

It is spontaneous "articulation" of energy,equivalent to the music´s texture.Verbalisations may be

misleading.The purpose of our  "words"  is phonic,not semantic.

 

MANY CONSIDER YOUR MUSIC AS "DARK",WHAT DO YOU GATHER FROM THEIR JUDGEMENT?

 

Dark words.As Havel wrote:"The outlines of terror induce the will to fight them".We dwell

in lightness,though by roary gloom."He who is not eagle should not nest over abysses".

 

DO YOU HAVE OTHER STUDIO OR CONCERT PLAYERS ?

 

Miroslav "Mupa" Zahajský.A man versed in electronics and composition.He has us to paraorchestral

samples and some of their sculptural parts.A highly empatic man.

 

IN WHAT DIRECTION IS VO.I.D LIKELY TO MOVE ? ARE YOU OPEN TO CURRENT TRENDS,

ARE YOU CONSIDERING TAKING ON MORE PLAYERS OR NEW INSTRUMENTS?

 

That is the question.Though mindful of our sensibility,we are often surprised with where we are heading :

we have already undergone a third complete metamorphosis and another is already hovering close by.

Our evolutuion "intelliges" a certain "peculiar"(guardian)"attractor".Whwrein we have invested our faith and are questioning

merely the course of its future drive."The Spirit wafts where it will".We invoke new emergence.MARAN ATHA !

 

WHAT SHOULD THE IDEAL SOUND OF VO.I.D BE LIKE ACCORDING TO YOU ? CAN WORDS DESCRIBE IT
AT ALL ? WHAT SHOULD IT COMPRISE OF ?

 

An "eidetic" ideal of sound is beyond our given possibilities.It would be a hypersonic outburst,an absorptive Proto-tone,

burning its way into the Unbeholdable.Words cannot approach its essence - perhaps a fragrance or death could come

nearer.It should be created by a strong electromagnetic emission,the shimmer of the stars.It should contain tectonic

vibrations,the smell of roes,fractal viruses,proteins and angelic lovingness,loving agression.

 

WHAT DOES SOUND MEAN TO YOU,IT´S STRENGHT OR COLOUR ?

 

A potential mystical initiation - Vertigo and Being.

 

WHAT KIND OF THOUGHTS STAND BEHIND YOUR MUSIC ? TO WHAT REGIONS DO YOU VENTURE THROUGH IT ?

 

Thoughts of moisture,electricity and archonts.Sultry wombs,deterministic chaos.We often venture into the bowels

of planets,bird´s blood and fire.

 

DO YOU FEEL ISOLATED,OR PERHAPS A PART OF SOMETHING BEING BORN,BRINGING FORTH LIGHT

INTO THE FUTURE ?

 

In the framework of our isolation we feel as part of anything within the transversal nets of circumstances.Yet we are

alone in the soar of our contemporaneity.We are ingrowing with fellow authors into this fate of isolating mutuality.

That we may be the light that is to come,through now being dusk onto ourselves."He who has not tasted biterness

shall not know sweetness."

 

I THINK THAT VO.I.D ARE IN ANY CASE MORE THAN MUSIC:HOW DO YOU PERCEIVE THIS ?

 

Sub specie aeternitatis we are all more than ourselves . the same goes for what we occasion.In form there is none

of arch-mindedness nor finality,only symbol and approximation to fire : launch the form !

 

WHAT DOES VO.I.D,OR MUSIC(ANTI-MUSIC)IN GENERAL,MEAN TO YOU ?

 

A single hand applauding.The ignition of congenial understanding.

This is the official version of material originally planned to be released back in 2000. That time, the resulting product ended up in depths of our archives. Release contains synapse modulations and electrically – generated realities created by Martin J. and Robert H. It´s an aural-visual phantasy, experience both deep physical and spiritual, as well as abstract and surreal. Intensity, dynamics, absorption – words the most accurate for this product design. VO.I.D are people of noise, which remains their final metaphor, the condition of their being. It is the very space of their inner universe, the emphasis and vital power of their spirit, the desire for transcendence, reaching the unspeakable and invisible.
